Humanitarian Data Space (Sandbox)
A demonstration instance: the datasets and query results here are synthetic
What is this sandbox?
This is a sandbox copy of the Humanitarian Data Space. It discovers datasets from the same FAIR Data Points as the live platform, but also surfaces sandbox repositories that are hidden on the public instance. You are signed in automatically as the sandbox user, so the SPARQL endpoints behind those repositories can be queried directly from the browser.
- Search across multiple data sources — connect to data repositories and see all available datasets in one overview
- Filter and explore — narrow down datasets by topic, keyword, or data provider
- Request access — select the datasets you need and generate a ready-to-send request email to the data owner
- Query data directly — for datasets with query endpoints, run analyses without downloading the data
How it works
1
Connect to a data source
Add the URL of a data repository. The platform will automatically discover all datasets it contains.
Browse datasets2
Find relevant datasets
Browse, search, and filter the discovered datasets to find the ones that match your needs.
Browse datasets3
Request or query
Add datasets to your selection and compose a data access request, or run queries directly on available endpoints.
